General Terms & Conditions

Prices Include:

• Half Board (American Breakfast and Dinner), lodging, daily transport to ski centers ( 2 schedule) to El Colorado- Farellones & La Parva ( 10 minutes land transfer), daily storage & ski boot dryer service and access to the SPA (Hydro massage). Tips are not included. Tipping is optional in our Hotel; however it is customary in Chile to tip 10%(optional).
• Our rates do not include the 19% value added tax (IVA); however, guests who are not residents of Chile do not pay VAT if they pay the account in U.S. dollars (credit card or cash). Prices may be subject to change without prior notice. Do not include Ski passes, internet connection, airfares, applicable gratuities, handling fees, Santiago / Airport / Farellones transportation service, and all kind of beverages ( sodas, mineral water ,wine , beer, etc)

Cancellations & Bills

1. In order to guarantee your reservation, a 50% payment of the total amount is required as a deposit. The remaining balance should be paid 45 days before arrival to the hotel.

2. If the reservation is cancelled or postponed more than 60 days prior to the arranged date of arrival, the deposit shall be returned in full less a service charge equivalent to 20% of that deposit.

3. If the reservation is cancelled or postponed more than 46 days but less than 60 days prior to the arranged date of arrival, the deposit shall be returned less a service charge equivalent to 50% of that deposit.

4. If the reservation is cancelled or postponed less than 45 days prior to the arranged date of arrival, no amount shall be refunded based on the total payment (100%).

5. If, due to some reason of force majeure, a guest has to leave Hotel Posada de Farellones before the arranged date of departure, no amount shall be refunded.

6. The total amount paid shall be refunded less US$ 30 per person for administration expenses in case of lack of snow, i.e. all lifts in the ski areas of both La Parva and El Colorado – Farellones Ski Resorts are closed. We also provide our clients with the alternative of transferring the money for a new reservation later on in the same season. The hotel will not cover any expenses incurred by a blocked road.

Additional Hotel Information

• Double Special and Family bedrooms are bigger, more comfortable and have a better view than Doubles. There you will find one Matrimonial bed & bunk or single beds.
• Family rooms have one bathroom, two bedrooms with or without a door to separate the ambience. Some of them have two twins or a queen size bed plus bunks and extra beds. There is not a different price for child, teens or adults in this room.
• Double rooms: Two regular beds. There is no chance to change to queen size bed due the limitation of the room.
• Check -In and Check -Out: Arriving guests will receive their rooms by 3:00 pm. They should make check -out before 12:00.
• Some of our rooms do not have TV; however a TV with satellite connection may be seen on the lounge.
• First child under 5 years old does not pay lodging. Second or third child under 5 years old pays same as children between 5 to 11 years old, staying in the same room as parent.
• The child price from 5 to 11 years old applies only in Double Special rooms.
• Electric Power Supply in Chile is 220 Volts, so you should bring transformers.
• Drinks are not included.
